hello all,
the ZIP-archive (had been at http://www.kleier.net/txt/rating.zip) of rating
data has been replaced by a database retrieval form.
if you like to start a tourney and use swiss perfect for pairing please
download the list from
http://www.kleier.net/download/get_ratings/index.php5
again hermann did a great job and makes organizing very easy.
in addition the board tourney rating now shows pics (of some players -
more pics in future) and all names and data are linked.
f.e. if you find your name in the list, just click at it and see the graph
of your history and all results at all tourneys till we start - superb job!

Nice improvement!
I think this will help organisers of tournaments and improve the ease of using the swiss perfect pairing system.
Just one question!
Are all the players on the list?
I looked for the British #3 (well in my opinion he is the British #3) cris seargent aka UK_Dagonet.......but he was not on the list.
I know he was on the list.......but he seems to have disappeared?
Cheers,

hmm,
dont know, maybe you search for a name (all players) and check this.
otherwise (and if he played isf ranked games) you can contact hermann
with the some infos:
name, year-month of the isf tourney, kind of tourney, - he can check
manually then, if he is in the list.
stratego
p.s. all tourneys played under isf rules and condition can be send to hermann.
swiss perfect can create an output file with all infos like list of players,
crosstable !!, standings etc etc. hermann will add them to the list. |

OK, I did some checking.
I had to phone cris for a list of the players he played........but I eventually found him.
For some reason though......he does not appear in any of the rankings or name lists. He does however still have a rank.
Maybe the list removes players who has not played in 18 months?
Is there a way of accessing old (pre 18 month) ranked players for the system? |
