Bad news

When I logg in into gravon I see not very much players playing anymore. A lot of good players dont seem to play anymore. And many players does not play as much as in the past.

A few years ago the competition was far better. Far more different players did play every now and then. But I miss many players these days.

I am afraid of the negative spiral (snowball effect) That more players start playing less or not.

It would be terrible for Gravon.

What can we do?

not agree i can always play a ranked game fast enough....

yes there a less players..... maybe because of the double nicks before
and some don't play everyone ( they searching for their oponents)
see the list of games they play in a year

when someone really loves to play stratego, with a full-time job and keeping your social live a player can easy play 1000 games a year that will cost you 7 hours a week to do that

"Waiting" is the right answer.
Maybe the championships are one reason.
I look forward to the christmas time.

For myself i played also less on gravon the last weeks.
But i promise to all of you: "I ll be back!"

the reason for me that i don't play so much as i did before is that i always play the same people. i'm getting bored of the same playstyle, the same opponent and the same bit games i played the last three months. i can't find the fun anymore to play because it are always the same people. i want to play new players aswell or the very good players like wussy etc who even can't find time to play many because of their work and family etc.
untill there won't come new people to play or the old legends i will not play so many as i did before.

some dudes get busy I suspect, dudes. The same way you can get caught up in playing this game, you can get caught up in doing other crap. There's a lotta crap to get caught up in out there dudes. It's a big world. We just need everyone to get caught up in tego at the same time. Like for instance some dudes might get caught up in hot chicks, or music or movies, school or work or sports and they forget about this great game for a while but they always manage to crawl back to it with a vengeance

Can you dudes dig that?
