What rating will Dozer end 2010 on?

Now that Dozer will have to play 1/4 of his games against 1500+ players, what rating do YOU think he will end 2010 on?

Currently he is on 1833 but will he stay there?

I think he will drop to around the 1600 mark.......either slightly above or below 1600.

He hasn't played a game since April 14th, so maybe I was right and he's going to disappear instead of face the music!

Maybe in a few months he'll try to come back and register with a new nickname and start from scratch playing normally, thus avoiding the shame of it all.

Hey dudes, I just signed in yesterday after not signing on since late August/Early Sept. I checked the rankings and saw this awesome new system. Now I must say that I've been laughing my ass off reading these Dozer threads. So is this how it works? Dozer will not be in the rankings at year end because there is no way he will play 1 in 3 games vs an adequate opponent? Just trying to clear this system up in my brain. I noticed that Dozer is not in rankings now or did I miss his name? Cheers and thank you dudes. This is classic stuff

I agree Bob. It is classic stuff. And you did not miss Dozer in the rankings (in fact no one misses him being there

after what he has been doing). He has a long long long way to go to make it back in because he has not played a single adequate player all year.

In fact, he has not changed his behavior at all. I hope he is enjoying himself beating up on low ranked players but now none of us have to care about it.

The interesting thing now is that the system has also kicked Ace out too. But he will be back I am sure. I am trying not to let my current rating inflate my ego too much.

I think it needs to go back to a 4:1 ratio quickly. The whole point was to weed out cheaters like Dozer, yet it is punishing Ace too and could potentially punish other top players who simply don't get the opportunities to play enough adequates. It was never designed to see someone like Ace vanish off the list, therefore it is not working properly as it currently operates.

haha, well I just was on gravon and joined Dozers game and he actually set the options and hit ok - for a ranked game! But, my brother came on then so I had to go as I was due to play him. After that I went back and Dozer only offered an unranked game, so I took it and just for fun I put 4 bombs at the front, and also the flag front middle, so he won really quickly and would see I was just having some fun at his expense and not even trying to play properly.

And then I reset it and he joined my game, so I made him wait for a few minutes as he usually does to others (or make them wait forever as he refuses to play!) then set it for a Free Arrangement game.

That style of game is quite fun but little skill involved really and much luck. Unfortunately he edged it but anyway the fun with Dozer continues!

Think Dozer wont play at all and ''no rating'' falls into the lowest category I assume.

Dozer finished the year on 1595.

I see he was doing it again but as he'd had to play a number of adequate games, he was never going to get back to the top spot. He's finally played some more adequates now and lost 4 in a row!
