World Championships Stratego

on 21st till 23rd of november there will be the 7th World Championships Stratego in Vienna, Austria!
This is an event open to all Stratego players who would like to measure their skills with players from all over the world.

The senior WC (14 years and older) will be held on 21st and 22nd, playing 9 rounds according to the swiss system. This means that everyone, no matter whether you win or lose will play 9 games, against people from about your strength in the tournament. In the end the person who won most can be called world champion.

The Juniors will play only on saturday the 22nd.

Finally, on the 23rd there will be a championship for country teams. The best 4 people from every country that has enough participants will play in this tournament as a team against the other countries to decide who are the strongest Stratego nations.

With so many strong players on internet lately it will be very interesting to see them compete with the world boardgame top, but also for the lesser players this will be a magnificent experience from which you can learn a lot.
