Malefiz tourney

Hello,

in the german sections of the board we discussed about a malefiz tourney. I would like to give non german players the same chance to join

i would like to know how many players would like to join a malefiz tourney when it would be played like this:

The tourney will be played in two stages, like the football world championchips:

1. A group stage. All players will be divided into several groups in which each player plays against each other. Two weeks time will be given to play all your opponents.

2. KO stage. The best 2 of each group qualify for the KO stage. Each KO round (quarter, semi, final) will be given a few days to be played.

The tourney would start at July 15th.

Each game will be played by the two players that have to play. We play best-of-three, that means they will play 3 single games and the one who wins 2 out of 3 will win the game for this pairing.

Who would like to join such a tourney?
