|
|
I am not sure where to start exactly so I will just begin.
I went to the WC in Antwerp Belgium from August 10-12th and I have no regrets. In fact it was one of the better decisions I have made in a long time.
From the tournament to the hotel to the quality of people there I have no qualms. All players helped me out and I learned so much about the game of Stratego.
I would like to thank all the Dutch, German and Belgian players who helped make my stay there great!! From the heart pounding move by move analysis of the tournament to the nights in the city I am so thankful for all the lep everyone gave me and the hospitality.
It was great to meet all the players I spend most of my time playing in person and learning from them there tactics and understanding there way of life. The tournament was great but learning the culture these guys live in and seeing there was of life was even better. I hope we have more American's next year and we can whoop some Euro ass!!
I would like to thank Ronald, Dieter Krapp, and all other players who brought me. The atmosphere was amazing everyone was friendly. Every player was willing to give advice and take advice. ALl players of all ages listened to each other and had a good time testing their wits!
If anyone has any specific questions contact me, as you can see i am not a great story teller!! |

Thanks for sharing about your experience. It sounds like you had a great time. I'm happy you were able to go. I have been planning to go for several years now, but as you can see, I still haven't made it.
Are you going again next year?
